Atrangee Re is an upcoming Indian romantic drama film directed by Ayanand L Rai and starring Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. T-Series, produced by Color Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films. It was originally scheduled for worldwide release in theaters on 14 February 2021, with Valentine’s Day. However, post-production delays due to the COVID-19 epidemic in India pushed it indefinitely. The film was finally scheduled to be released on 6 August 2021.

Production
Khan and Dhanush officially announced the shoot motions on 1 March 2020 in Lucknow, before production ceased in the 3rd week of March due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The two resumed their stakes in July 2020, after which Kumar joined the set on 4 December 2020. Dhanush and Kumar wrapped the film in late December. The entire film finally wrapped up on 27 March 2021.
Music
The film’s score and soundtrack A. R. Rahman is composed with lyrics by Irshad Kamil, with Ayanand L Rai after Raanjhanaa. The first track presented by Shreya Ghoshal had already been recorded. The songs of the film are folk-classical-based compositions.
Dhanush performed a song for the album.
